READ ALOUD & FREE BOOK DONATION TO THE LESS PRIVILEDGED!
Hello,
My name is Fiyinfoluwa Asenuga. I am a 10-year-old boy living in Lagos, Nigeria.
The COVID-19 lockdown gave birth to my quest for studying animal lifestyles and the wisdom humans can pick from them.
Three years down the line, I grew from speaking about manners from the animal kingdom to writing a fiction/non-fiction storybook titled; ‘MADISA & THE RUNAWAY CAT’.
The storyline, set of questions at the end of each chapter, meaning of difficult words & the vital information revealed about cats at the tail end of this book make it a good read to teach anyone endurance, respect, understanding of others, tolerance, and also promote curiosity.
Seeing the struggles of the less privileged children on the street while volunteering with my mum’s Non-Governmental Organization (YORCI) over the years, I’ve vowed to support them in my way.
In one year and among over 200 children, I launched and deployed the ‘Read and Act with Fiyin’ project in nine different communities/schools.
Through it, over 200 books have been given out for free, I have spent quality time reading aloud to my friends, acting out short playlets from the storybook, (with some of the children as casts), and giving out educational supplies to them too.
A copy of the storybook costs #5000/$4 Kindly indicate the community/country of interest and the number of copies you have in mind to the below.
Thank you so much and God bless you. Amen.
